2024-25 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 4 - Moscow

Lol, Fedorov's moment of rest with that hip thrust reminded me when Trusova did it one year in attempt to show feminine side, lol. Just as awkward. Also couple of 'wait for it' gestures...heh. Loved how much he enjoyed the second half of the skate.

Well, the scores were probably a bit fantasy realm, and I would have had both Kondratyk and Semenenko lower, but this is another wonderfully skated free which was a pleasure to watch.

Her FS was 160. With 30 extra sec. she probably would add an extra triple jump or combo-enough to make up the 5 points. I'm not including her total score, just the FS. If she continues to skate as she has, trust me, she will be competition for Adelia.
What? Am I not understanding something? She doesnt get extra jumps. She gets a StSq. Thats it. She has 7 jump elements already. Thats the max. The 30 extra seconds is a StSq. Meanwhile her PCS is not even close.

You are giving her at maximum 5 extra points with a high GOE, lvl 4 StSq. You can give her an extra 10 PCS for literally zero reason too and she still doesnt beat Adeliia.

We can compare FS alone like you want, in which case perfect Dvoeglazova has some hope to tie Adeliia falling on a toeloop. Meanwhile there is a 16 point SP gap. Nobody is competing with Adeliia without a 3A. The SP gap is too big. Its borderline impossible. Thats how the sport is right now, the SP is worth too much.

The only current skater capable of beating Adeliia in any realistic theory is Akateva with a 3A. Everyone else is getting flattened.

Dont know if you want to consider Bazyluk since shes so young, but theres also her. Not Dvoeglazova though. No 3A, no win. If she gets one then we can talk. So I cant really "trust you" on that one I'm sorry it just logically doesnt hold.

This year, I agree. Next year? Assuming everyone stays healthy and uninjured-I expect Adelia will have very stiff competition from both Alisa and Daria. I actually thought this week, Alisa was better-her jumps had a beautiful lightness, and she has more honest connection to the music. Daria also has light, beautiful jumps, and she seems to float over the ice seamlessly. Adelia tends to 'muscle' her jumps and skating-owing I think to her diminutive size, it always seems like she has had to pump twice as hard to move down the rink, even as a Junior.
