2024 CS PGE Warsaw Cup Women's FS

I have to say, I do like Aleksandra's Lithuanian team jacket, with the belt in the colours of the Lithuanian flag.

Ooooh. Lovely jump from Aleksandra when the camera started focussing on her. And then she went down to the other end of the rink and did another lovely jump!

And, that was as much as we saw of her.

Looking forward to seeing her programme.

Watching her starting in the same gear during practices I found it quite stylish :)
Good luck to Alexandra!
PS. A funny/touching moment from today's morning when practice: someone from Alexandra's team approached me asking about crowns and telling me she values one she got at Warsaw Cup in 2022 :)
Well, she will have a pair after today ;)

Well, I think it is safe to say that the younger girl from right in the centre of Germany is going to jump over the girl from the deep south of Germany.

That was a nightmare skate for Julia SAUTER (ROU)

But, the audience were getting behind her, encouraging her during her programme. And they gave her the biggest round of applause and cheers of the segment so far when she finished.

I think it was Julia's age and experience that got her through that. A much younger skater would have crumpled.

She goes into 2nd in both the FS and overall.

Awwwww.

See, we keep telling you how much the skaters appreciate your crowns. It means a lot to them to get that sort of recognition.

And thank you for giving her another.

Looking forward to seeing it on her (and possibly David too! )

The crowd are really getting into this "California Dreaming" programme from Laura SZCZESNA (POL), clapping along to the beat.

Don't blame them, really. It's an enjoyable programme.
