Loved seeing Geoffrey show respect and appreciation by applauding for Piper and Paul after their skate. I LOVE my French darlings too and I so dig this very cool, innovative program. These two are NEVER boring!!

The judges are such judges.... they know it doesn't matter... they could have given them higher PCS. They would have, if they had been in the second group.

I did think they looked more tentative than normal which is completely understandable

Lopareva/Brissaud Free Dance is in my top 5 favourite programs in all disciplines I think this season and they were very good today. They seem to be in their element with this music. The Free Skate should clear 120 by some (?) margin I think?

ETA: They apparently got dinged for some levels so I was in the wrong, I thought the score would be not to far from Gilles/Poirier but the Canadians ate them up.

L/B has one of my favorite free dances of the season. Glad they had a good skate on home ice.

G/P's FD continues to look slow and somehow heavy. Commentary noted that L/B are way faster. That is not decisive between those two couples, but a gold medal contender should really move with speed across the ice.
