Chock and Bates avoid a major mistake, but this program still hasn’t grasped me this season. They have had far better work in their career than this. I find myself losing interest because the program doesn’t really have highs and lows; it’s just one note throughout.

All season long I’ve been wondering why Charlene & Marco chose this. Today, I had an idea—is it possible that they just wanted something that showcases their amazing skating skills, without the bother of telling a lovely, emotional story, as they’ve done consistently in the past?

i thought the same. There is no music in there so it just serves as plain canvas for technical display but it doesn't give us much else than that.

But I know nothing about ice dance. Probably the program I enjoyed the most though was Lajoie/Lagha.
