Although Grassl has improved on the way he looks on the ice, he will never be balletic. This program highlights his weaknesses in a bad way. And the middle part is just weird. The SP is much better.

I actually think his awkward, gawky skating/jumping style perfectly suits the story of a young man just starting the study of ballet.

This choreographer is way better than Benoit IMO but this isn't his best work and it's wasted on Grassl, but at least I am currently getting wasted on raspberry Schnapps (in honor of Ilia's twist, of course).

A good skate from Daniel! It wasn't just his 4Lz that was perilously close to the boards on landing, but the other two quads looked it too. I have warmed to the programme since Mark explained the Billy Elliott link - the choreo sequence is fun, and he does time the split jump so well with the (baffling) breaking glass sound effect.

Grassl! Goooooo! I know peeps don't like the program, but I enjoy its concept and simplicity of the white t-shirt costume.

I really like the programme. Perhaps it makes more sense to me because Billy Elliot was filmed in this area and I know the socioeconomic and cultural environment which underpins it. Daniel's programme is pretty true to it.

Yeah my older siblings had such a blast going on summer holiday to Germany between the age of 16-18 because they were old enough to go clubbing

It ended up with some drama because my sister stole my cousins boyfriend, we had to leave early
