And I'm back.

Since the Senior Pairs has already started, and I had missed the first partnership, I decided to go back to the Junior Ladies. I want to see what happens! (Plus, I don't trust Mark and Ted not to give spoilers!)

Just watched the second of the twins, KIM Yuseong (KOR), and she was beautiful too!

So much talent and beauty on the ice in one family!

Ach, they weren't sitting together in the results area.

Yuseong went into 2nd position in the FS, and the lead overall.

Well, at least they both have something to be happy about.

This year at Gdańsk JGP there were multiple judge hits.

I have the sinking feeling that I put the wrong twin on the podium in my predictions - To be fair, I think a lot of us did.

I hedged my bets and put both on the podium!

Yujae in 2nd, and Yuseong in 3rd.

Well, at least I'll get points from both of them.

I think Mao was overscored here, the triple axel was landed on the q and the quad toe should have been downgraded IMO, her free program score would have been still the best around 140

catching up and wow what an event!! although i am somewhat sad that mayuko, whose programs are amongst my favorite from both the senior & junior fields, wasn't able to shine with this program as she has earlier this season

How bored is Mao at this point knowing she really shouldn't be at his level anymore and should have been given a chance to be in Milan in 2 months.

Debut senior seasons can be a tricky thing though. No guarantees.

Maybe but not being pushed at this level really doesn't help her improve where she needs to and it must be boring for her to be going to Junior Worlds yet again.

I think her skating has been improving with more experience and projection, trying different styles, which is very good for her. She was known for her technical ability and consistency, but now she is also known for her interpretation, spins, and complex step sequences.
