There were several verrry odd costumes in the short (I hated Mao's attempt at cutesy, she is way too old for that one) but the Korean girls were couture stars as always so I hope for great things today.)

Here Come The Girls!!!

I'm here. But, due to unfortunate scheduling clashes with the Formula 1, I will be leaving just before the final skater.

I’m very excited for this competition and eager to see if all six girls will attempt 3As in the free. Oka landed hers for the first time at Junior Nationals last week, beating Shimada in the free and almost taking the title!

All 6 skaters plans 3A in Free Skating.
I was hoping Mei wouldn't try hers, since I don't think she has ever landed it......
She's in 2nd and if she skates clean she has a good chance in staying on the podium even without the 3A.

Oh drat.

I just put on Sky Sports F1 in preparation for a quick escape, and I discovered that either the schedule has changed since I checked yesterday, or I remembered it wrong. The coverage is starting half an hour earlier, at the top of the hour rather than half past.

Consequently, I will only see the first skater LIVE. (Which is really unfortunate, given that the twins are going back-to-back. That is always what you dream of, when you have siblings in the same competition).

But, don't worry, I will be playing catch-up later in the day.
