2026 U.S. Nationals in St Louis

@moonvine I knew you would be in your glory!!! Remember, lots of stuffies available after Valentine's Day!...As for the rest of us, we should start our prayer circle :ghug: for the weather now! I probably won't risk driving and will fly. Haven't been to Nats in a few years, so I'm kind of excited about this! I've been three times when it's the Olys year ('14, '18, '22), and it's a lot of fun!

Those were good times at the St. Louis Nationals in 2006. 🥳 We were so excited that Michelle was named to the Olympic team under a medical exemption but would never again see our Kween skate competitively again. 😭

I drove in from Columbus, OH (it is definitely in the Midwest) with a car full of stuffies, stayed with my best friend and her family early in the week, and then met up with friends at the official hotel. I ended up driving everyone between the main rink and practice rink – shuttle bus schedule was a little spotty due to the distance they had to cover. It would be nice if the two rinks are closer this time around. I loved that Columbus' rinks were in the same building with plenty of seating at the practice rink and lots of places to eat in the downtown area.

I guess it's time for a 20-year reunion.

That's true. Michigan is in the far west.
"Hail! to the victors valiant ...
Hail! Hail! to Michigan
The champions of the West!"

When my daughter went to U Mich, we parents took a guided campus tour and were taught the fight song while on the bus. It was funny, for this Oklahoma kid who grew up thinking of California as The West.

Just got our tickets. Had a little problem with Ticketmaster in that the credit card hadn't been used in Missouri before (California address) Finally got it worked out. The arena is about the same size as SAP Center in San Jose. Parking can be an issue but we've decided to take Ubers and not worry about the weather, etc.

I hope their handicapped services are better.

Planning to get tickets - actually affordable. But I would probably not rent a car for the week (just to drive from whichever airport I fly from with points - probably 3-4 hr drive or train). Wondering which hotels they used last time/or are likely to use & if they would likely have a shuttle to any of them [I don't need to know which ones specifically, just whether that may be an option]? I know they did in Columbus and hotels here look further away. Also, is there food nearby or will I be ubering a lot?
I want to be prepared after what happened in Nashville with the ice storm & think through before I buy tickets.
