Haru is also such a gorgeous skater, I'm so glad to see him back recovering from injury with a very nice clean skate!

This was such a strong start, and then I think that the spin error sort of rattled him - it's such a shame, but this is his first senior Nats and hopefully this will make him a stronger skater in the long run with how to overcome weird errors. I want to give him a hug, he looks so sad.

I have also glanced at some of the Russian men, and one thing makes me very happy, that in the two countries where the sport is most popular the men have clearly gone "to hell with your Manly Men's Cutprice Clobber for Manly Men" and gone for the bling. Lots of bling. Not always good bling, of course, but vastly better (imho) than MM'sCCforMM.
