I am excitedly waiting for the final group. My thoughts are Chock and Bates are going to really give it and clean up here. Nervous ffor Piper and Paul but I do think they will get second and LaLa barring disaster bronze. The Americans solidly in fourth and fifth with Canada's thrid dance team having a disastrous RD and will probably not move up a lot.

Random question is that Chinese dance team with the really tall guy still around? I can't remember their names...but I really enjoyed that team!

Liu Xinyu... has been embroiled in a scandal related to his private life, I'm assuming he has retired (I adored Wang Shiyue, deep sigh)

I have been watching the KAZ team for awhile now and find them charming. They work so well together - better coaching should help them improve their skills. They have a unique style and represent their country's music well.

Never mind anything else, Harlow and Seiji look amazing.

It is really messing with my head that Harlow is just less than 9 months older than my baby girl.

I always love a James Bond programme. But, I could do without Sam Smith's vocals coming in.

They were good.

You all know that, generally speaking, I love programmes that use traditional music and traditional dress. So it will come as no surprise that I love this programme from Gaukhar NAURYZOVA / Boyisangur DATIEV (KAZ).

But, why the dialogue in the middle?! It spoiled the mood.

you know, the costume isn't that bad in person. The open backs create symmetry.
considering the many crazy outfits your fave skater has worn over the years, some of them called boob skirt or salad by some fans, i thought you might be up for some innovation

It's not just the hole in the back, you know (though that is silly, and teddibly low-budget BBC scifi show without their good points) but the sheer heaviness of the whole thing makes him look chunky in the worst possible places.

(And I adore the salad - or seafoam - costume thank you very much but I do not begrudge others their less than effusive reaction. I have read some hysterical ones )
