Lovely expression from Minkyu hitting all the nuances of the music and jumping very cleanly. I can see the influence Jun has had on the Korean boys. They stretch and extend and express the in between elements. Very, very nice.

Also what struck me. Junhwan has clearly taught these youngsters a lot, by example. And what a role model to have!

I do think that Minkyu is getting World Champion points... his Lutz really looked suspect to me. That said, I enjoyed his skate the most, and there was a lot of assurance that I didn't get from Jacob's.

That said, I'm impressed how he has improved over the entire season. He hasn't had great sp internationally all year, what a time to put it all together.

I notice they also seem to have learned how to be patient on the second jump of the combo like Jun.

I'm biased and all but his lutz edge looked somewhat better than usual, an ! rather than an e if you ask me
