There is no official Youtube stream anymore. So far there are several ways to watch the official broadcast:
1) Recommended: RUTUBE. The sponsor of the senior events. High quality, no geoblock, it allows to rewind. Replays are archived.
2) Official Channel One website. The website is geoblocked in some countries by local providers. You can use Dutch VPN if you are from Europe, or Canadian VPN if you are from the USA to avoid the block.
3) Channel One's technical channel. Open this link https://1tv-live-gcore.servicecdn.ru/dash-live3/streams/sport-1/sport-1.mpd via VLC media player or any similar app such as KMplayer. VPN services are not needed for this. The broadcast quality is better than at the website.

Attention! Voting is open for the participation of one extra athlete for both men's and women's!

I voted Akateva. I think she is going to be the one. Vote up for your favourites!

If anyone wants an extra vote for their favourite man let me know I dont really know any of these guys 🤣

Voting closes Feb 21

I’m shocked contenders for Olympic qualifying are skating here again! Well the damage has already been done if it matters how the sponsor is seen

To be honest, I'm not looking forward to this like previous seasons, but once it happens it will become good. Like the jump tournament, which was a disaster to begin with but then Mark and Adelia saved it and it turned into something memorable. Three teams makes it more interesting as well. It will be good to see Adelia skate, she looks like she has grown in recent photos. Hopefully she can retain the jumps. That will be the only thing that matters for the next 11 months. Completely unfair, but those are the rules.

The good thing is even if she loses almost all her jumps once she is selected and if she qualifies in China she is going no matter what. She can’t be replaced. She could only have a triple toe in February of 2026 and if she has a triple flip and lutz in China and qualifies she doesn’t have to worry. She can go to Olympics with a triple toe being her hardest jump.

I dont know if I would call it a "good thing" for her if she went with a 3T as her hardest jump. That being said, in theory even with reduced tech she would starch the competition. So in that sense its a nice buffer that no matter what she just has to show up at those two events and everything else is meaningless.

However I see absolutely zero evidence she is losing anything at all. Last season people were saying the same thing and she came back with a 3A at like double the stability it ever was and a perfect 4T. She jumped a 4F in December test skates too she is entirely capable of a world record. There is nothing at all indicating it should be possible for her to lose anything close to whats required for losing an international competition. I dont see a plausible scenario where she goes from world record contender to worse than the best international skater. She is past serious development. You can see it in her face and general body structure. Significant height gain is out of the question IMO. She literally had the 2nd best season of all time and proved herself to be the most consistent ladies ultra-c jumper of all time, statistically.

I used the word good but also interesting would have fit. Well this is the hope! If she is cleared and stays injury free. I just hope in doing all these competitions she doesn’t over do it. Being the official chosen Olympian I hope she just pops in and out. She’s on a whole different track as official Olympian

After the qualifying event I mean. If anything happens to her after September that’s it. I am just always thinking about someone is chosen and qualifies in September and then is possibly involved in the most intense and incredible competition among women in the world!! That’s why anyone who is the qualifier should only do 4 events and that’s it. Normally Russia has until January but this time it’s September and that’s it

You sure? I think if Adel wins the tournament she qualifies a spot for the country not just herself. So Russia has another skater locked in and if Adeliia were unable to attend, Russia would still have their reserve. Pretty sure thats the point of the reserve if it was only until September it'd be a little useless.
