A bit of a mixed bag for Sofja - she had good fight on the combo, she needed to put a 3T on the end to get any points for it at all, but then she had the flukey fall on the loops. She's still working on moving up to seniors, some of her performance is still a bit juniorish at times, but this program was a really brave fight from her and she has nice spins.

I had kept Samodelkina as the qualifying score and was thinking there were three skaters between Kristen and qualification, forgetting that those skating after Sofia had gone in between.

This is such a tense part of the competition, when every mistake matters and can be the difference between free skate qualification and not (which this year also means Olympic spot qualification or not)
