Isabeau is almost like the American Anna Shcherbakova (or Zhenya Medvedeva?) - Not the best technique, not even the best skating skills, but crazy levels of grit (and oh so expressive).
There are certainly skaters who are better athletes, but few who are better competitors.

Very impressed with Levito today, I expected a clean skate but this was better than I thought it would be. The triple lutz was like the best I've ever seen from Isabeau, the performance quality was great as well.

Okay, Levito is impressing me just by her packaging, if nothing else. The Audrey Hepburn look is wonderful, and we need to see more skaters skating to music like this, classy instrumentals, quality music, not all this emo ska music, or generic female ballot type stuff I'm not exactly sure what you call the second half stylistically, that kind of pseudo Latin jazz, but when's the last time you heard something like that? Probably not since I used to have compulsory dances back in the day LOL. But as much as I have never liked her before, and I have been very harsh due to her shallow edges and sketchy jump technique, I have to say that everything about this program was right. Totally bang on
