Overall, it turned out similarly in terms of scores to last season - 73 vs. 73.25 for the last FS qualifier, 86.41 vs. 85.00 for top 10, 90.39 vs. 93.10 for the last warm-up group, 2 vs. 3 100+ scores.

Ilia's 4F looks on q, but at least shouldn't have such presumably high GOE (it must be massive GOE), 3A looks on the q, then 4Lz is a very clear q and the illegally prerotated 3T is a q as well.

I think Ilia is going to win easily and is the best of all time, but Kagiyama had superior jumping and superior skating.

I actually can’t believe Ilia scored 46 in PCS. I like him. But, I guess we are in USA

However, Yuma was glorious and if PCS was awarded correctly, they should be close. If Ilia is 46 in PCS, Yuma should be 48

Only 48? I'd say there should be at least 4 point gap between them... Skating skills alone.... don't get me started PLEASE PEOPLE, LEARN TO IDENTIFY WHAT A DEEP, CLEAN, PURE EDGE LOOKS LIKE!!!!... anyway....

I am so happy for Yuma and Ilia to put out two phenomenal programs - I think these are my favourite short programs from both of them - for Shun, who help up under the pressure wuth his gorgeous program, and for Andrew, who has my favourite program of the past two seasons. I'm sure people will have strong feelings about the scoring, but let's try to be respectful in our discourse - it is the judges who award the scores and most of these skaters are very young individuals who have a lot of pressure and expectation on their shoulders.

At Grand Prix France in 2023, he landed a 3A right in front of me - it was completely silent.

Yuma!!!! Thats the skate of the day for me. When you can weave and turn and have deep amazing curves and edges... that's mastery of the blade. I'd watch this 10x more. His components are at least as far ahead as a quad lutz are ahead of a sal... and, to do that after that program by Ilia? Most impressive. These 2 brought it.

We had some really great skates!!!
