Madi and Evan skated very well. There is no point saying that they didn't... the problem I have is that it felt like they ddin't even need to skate well... if the judges take away the pressure with such a cushion, they can indeed skate freely. People forget about that... these gaps help them skating with more freedom.

They still have to deliver, so kudos to them.

Ok. Chock and Bates did deliver. I do think they were slightly better than Paul and Piper. So, this result is acceptable to me

Maybe an unpopular opinion here, but I enjoy the sparkle and sass of Madi and Evan's jazzy dance. Fun stationary lift near the end.

Nothing to do with Piper and Paul, I don't like tangos. Andrew, Jason, Donovan and Kévin could do a tango program together and I wouldn't like tangos.

But a solid, assured and precise skate.

Well, i gotta say, I am gutted the most for Mrazkova/Mrazek and La/La. Really liked how fun the second Finns were. I also like Carreira/Ponamorenko, though I think there was one time they had a more bright Carmen. Oh, i am the only person in the world who finds the Dune super boring

What suspense? The gold medal was decided before the RD even started. Chock and Bates would have needed multiple falls across both programmes to not win.
