I noticed that, and in 2 different spins I'm pretty sure!

But quite a lot of skaters can do bi-directional spins now, meanwhile Sonja is the only one that does bi-directional jumps as far as I know

on competition ice that's true.

Nice performance by Isabeau. Around 72 score I'm guessing maybe 73. Jumps looked better than last season.

I know people are going to be critical of Isabeau but I really liked that program on her. It was fun and whimsical. I think her jumps, though not textbook, do look stronger with less mule kick.

Personally I get very distracted by the outfit. Practice clothes is fine for test skates, not international competitions. If costume is not ready yet, make a effort and wear a old one

Wow Isabeau - that was charming and lovely and full of fun details. I suspect that she got some tips from Jason Brown while on tour about the jumps. I think I am seeing some similarity in their takeoff and still more improvement on the jumping technique.

This is a program I will be rewatching again.

Hmmmm while this style does suit Isabeau well, I think this SP is just too similar to her last season's SP - down to the little gestures.... almost like same choreo different music
