Some slight errors on the jumps, but overall a very strong skate for Katie. Loved the opening sequence. She's fast, too.

Good skate from Katie. So many clockwise rotators in internationals. I cannot think of a single one in Russia. Why? You literally just dont see it there.

I liked that program a lot for Katie Shen! She has some wonderful qualities, a lot of speed and power on the ice and finished movements.

I can't imagine why I've never seen Katie skate, given that I always watch U.S. Nationals, but I can't recall ever having watched her and now I'm rooting for her to get some assignments later this season! Something about her jumps is really pleasing to watch - speed of rotation, maybe?

But I have seen entirely too many Maleficent programs this competition and I am not pleased with this, so.

just a friend coming from Germany that i haven't seen for about 15 years... so yeah... no point training these folks. you gotta compromise once in a while and hope for archives from CQE
