Betrayed by the Salchow of all things Still, Hannah is so young, so inexperienced, it's not reasonable to expect perfection and she really gave it her all. I'm sure we'll see her on Canadian podiums and international competitions, including JGPs, in the next few years and hopefully for as long as possible.

I don't watch Junior Women in the JGP either. Just way too many. Men yes, pairs yes, dance yes, women no.

Ah, I love Jiaying. This wasn't her cleanest program, but there was still a lot of lovely stuff here. I still maintain that it might not be the best idea for her to be doing arm variations until the jumps themselves are more consistent, but she has so much potential.

Gosh, the wheels just came off that program. Reese has enormous potential, so that's really too bad.

I truly have no clue what Canada is going to do with its JGP spots given the wild inconsistency even within the same competition...

Unfortunately, Reese's competition here ended similarly to NextGen - With a superb Short program, and a messy Free. I just want her to succeed so badly

Truly, this is...a spectacular number of falls. You expect that to an extent with juniors, but it does seem unusually excessive at this competition.

Eighth to podium is WILD, especially because Kaya was twelfth at Junior Cup in July with a pretty similar field. Good to know this is what she can do if she goes clean!
