2025 JGP Bangkok Women's Free Skate

The thing that immediately struck me when I watched the SP from Izabella ESAIAN (ARM) last night was how long her legs are. And there was one point where they did cause a problem.

Given that she is only 14 and no doubt still has a lot of growing to do, she is going to be an extremely tall girl.

I liked that "Romeo And Juliette" programme.

Awww, she is so happy!

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

Really solid skate for Jessi, only the +REP will keep her score down a few points below what she's capable of. Super nice jumps, not much question about rotations (in contrast to some of the other US and non-US women).

Perfect costume for Good Omens

When I saw the costume, I was expecting a "101 Dalmatians" programme. Well, the half black and half white does scream Cruella de Vil!

Either that or "Swan Lake".

Not familiar with "Good Omens". But I enjoyed the music.

Ted and Mark are raving about how good this was.

She ran out of steam during the second half of the program, but the beginning was very promising. There will definitely be a few unders, but a good skate for her

Comic fantasy book about an an angel and a demo teaming up to save the world by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, TV series starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen. Great fun, as you;d expect with that pedigree.

Such a pity about the fall near the end.

Phattaratida KANESHIGE did the Thai fans proud.

When they went to the results area, Alex was just beaming with pride! And I don't blame him.

I can completely dissociate my love for skaters from my hate of their musical choices. I even have experience with Warsaw Concerto in that sense because my LaLa skated to it. But early in the morning, before I have had my kombucha and eaten my BF, it's a tough thing to swallow.

Another soundtrack I do like Patrick Doyle's work, he isn't one of the megabig names in soundtracks but still...

And the dress does fit the period feel.
