Love the costumes that Gaukhar NAURYZOVA / Boyisangur DATIEV (KAZ) are wearing. All black. They look amazing from a distance, and even better close up!

I really like these two. Everybody can have a programme where the music isn't to everybody's taste once in a while.

KUDRYAVTSEVA / KARANKEVICH: first program of the night I truly enjoyed! (And I'm not a Backstreet fan at all, lol) Felt like they matched the energy of the music and actually gained energy as it went on instead of flagging in the second half. Well choreographed, tech is only a point or two behind Wang/Liu, I'd have them at or above W/L in PCS... but we'll see what the judges think.

They did a bit of the "Backstreet's Back" dance during "Larger Than Life". Is it supposed to be a preview?

And when they do get to it, it's at turbo speed!

LOVE the choreography they did during the reprise of "Larger Than Life"!

Sorry for talking so much about the music. But, the skating was great.

I wasn't keen on the versions that they used of the songs. But I loved what they were doing to it. And at least it was different to all the hundreds of other Backstreet Boys programmes we have been getting.

They skaters look nervous. The coaches look a lot happier.
