Yes not offically! I assume they are very surprised and happy. I expected them to do well, but not so much in the RD, as the FD has always been their strong side. I think Judy Blumberg at the panel calling the right levels for the teams is one of the reasons. If you look at the judging panel you should think they were having disadvantage

Sinicyn's teams tend to have good levels for their personal stage of development, especially when compared to certain coaches who are technical specialists (starts with Z, ends with anni). That was quite evident when a certain (no longer existing) team switched coaches last season, just saying.

Yes, but Finland has to surrender the spot in time. For now, they intend to keep it until it's absolutely sure Yuka won't get citizenship in time, so I hope nobody gets screwed over on either side.

Oh I can't believe I didn't think of it that Yuka Orihara might not have citizenship. That is a shame. I hope Finland relinquishes the slot on time if it does not work out for Yuka.

There so many great teams in this event who won't get a spot so wasting a one sounds like a crime. The dept of ice dance is insane rn.
