I think for Canada it's tonight. 8 pm for me, so I can conveniently watch Gumennik's group at least before calling it a day
I believe this program is a costume violation as well.
I'm not prudish, but it's tacky and crass. It would be crass in an exhibition program over summer, let alone performing dressed like this at the Olympics.
I'm just thinking if Adelia or Kaori came out onto the ice dressed like this, what would we think of it? We'd think their coaches, choreographers, their fed have lost their minds.

6 points are not that much in Singles (and pairs). A fall, a missed combo or even just a few underrotations can eat away at that. Plus, she's only a bit over 3 points ahead of 6th, that's even less!
I wish everyone well, though, I like all of the ones mainly battling it out for 4th and 5th - Ruiyang, Stefania, Mia, Viktoriia and Kristina
May the best skater on the day win their Olympic ticket.
I thought russians are way above everyone? What's happen?

Replying to myself, well, i said I will accept it if the standards will be the same but Loena clearly URed 2A yet did not receive a call, so therefore I proclaim Aldeliia's score unjustifiably low.

I mean, they could have made that q an UR on Petrosyan's 3Lz. This event will have low scores. It is not Boston Worlds or RusNats.

The q on the 3Lz was there for Adelia, but they gave the jump a GOE of mostly -2 for a landing didn't interrupt the jump or program.
However, they ignore the q's on Loena's jumps, 2A could have been an underrotation as well, Loena steps out, yet mostly -3's just slightly less than Adelia.
On Loena's combo (which was in the first half not the second half like Adelia), she is clearly landing on the q if not under but none of it called, she comes to a complete stop on the ice and puts her hand down onto the ice completely interrupting the jump element and program, yet mostly -2's.
It's unbelievable how harsh they were with Adelia who had the most complex program of the day, and which she absolutely knocked out of the park.

They could in case they would want to do something bad, because checking it really closely hardly justifies even q, while Hendrickx 2A was clear UR and did not receive even q, and her negative GoE was also more mild even with loss of fluency of the two jumping elements.
It was no underrotation, plus Loena's landings were less rotated, less clean, but nothing called. Loena came to a complete stop holding herself up with a hand down on the ice and still loss less on that element than Adelia did for her q which didn't interrupt the element or program. She stayed on one skate, it was just a little wonky on the landing.

How does Adelia who had this fast, frenetic, complex, precise level 4 step sequence get 7.86 for skating skills, but Loena (with all her errors and interruptions) and Nastya (with her lack of speed and coming to a complete stop at times) level 3 step sequences receive 8.25 for skating skills?

Petrosyan is in first, Hendrickx is in 3rd. In this competition it's all that matters.
