At least this could be argument for putting skating back to normal.I bet ISU enjoyed the viewer boost![]()
I like the idea of having skaters independent of country in general. At least this could be argument for putting skating back to normal.
I just reread all the comments now because I was shaking from the warm-up until the medal ceremony hahaha I am DONE for today! But it's HUGE for her to win even without attempting any ultra-c's in her first international senior event.. imo it's worth more than having ultra-c here and win with them..Realistically this was me after every element. I wasn't able to stay sitting in my chair for any of that program.
Then again I never can if I'm watching Adeliia. Or really at all during Nats for almost anyone.
And we have test skates to be prepared for soon, all this joy we had already from skating and our season isnt even started yet.I just reread all the comments now because I was shaking from the warm-up until the medal ceremony hahaha I am DONE for today! It will be nice to watch Adelia (and all the other incredible skaters I think Alisa will be Russian champion/best in the world this season), but I don't think we'll see her perform again in competition until Milan. I hope I am wrong. And we have test skates to be prepared for soon, all this joy we had already from skating and our season isnt even started yet.![]()
Not competing for a half of year is normally bad for skaters. I highly doubt she won't attend any events. It will be nice to watch Adelia (and all the other incredible skaters I think Alisa will be Russian champion/best in the world this season), but I don't think we'll see her perform again in competition until Milan. I hope I am wrong.
It's probably the smart thing to do to wait until Milan before competing again.
i saw you posted this at 930am my time. I was having a nightmare then. I guess now i know whythe georgian lady, where's @4everchan ?
I need to figure out how to handle my nerves until February hahaha...And we have test skates to be prepared for soon, all this joy we had already from skating and our season isnt even started yet.![]()
She lost it on her underrotated 3Lz. If that had been clean she would have been 5th.And once the disappointment dies down, that is something she should be proud of.
Safonova should not have been 7th after the SP. So we all knew she would be moving up. But, Stefania did all that she could do by slotting into what was at the time 2nd behind her.
I am so proud of her.

I don't think she is contender, maaaaabeeeee for 6-9 place, but not for medals. The same goes for Gubanova. I'm not big fan of Samodelkina, but she looks stronger than them and there are even stronger skaters in US, Japan and Korea.Hendrickx needs to get back her 3Lo. She can't be an Olympic contender with a 6 triple program.
another site crowd thinks it is criminally high though. Therefore I can't comprehend nowadays what the the person means when he says the PCS is a joke. They should be more clear.66 is of course criminally low, but I was worried for much worse.
She can't get back something she never had. She literally had only one attempt ever and that was UR.Hendrickx needs to get back her 3Lo. She can't be an Olympic contender with a 6 triple program.
Is she getting any rating points for that event, I wonder? If not - is she bound to be in the first group with low rating skaters at OG for SP?But it's HUGE for her to win even without attempting any ultra-c's in her first international senior event
There are no points for this event. And even if there were, they wouldn't be enough to move up in the standings. Is she getting any rating points for that event, I wonder? If not - is she bound to be in the first group with low rating skaters at OG for SP?
His name is Valery ArtyukhovFrom federation, but I forgot his name.
Agree, very impressive performance by Stefania. She should be proud! And once the disappointment dies down, that is something she should be proud of.
