From my counts, there will be a maximum of 9 teams in Senior Pairs (not including Schmitz/Eberl since I don't know what they're doing).That explains it all. I liked them and I hope recovery will be steady for them on their way to nationals.
I am guessing that there are not enough pairs to have skaters excluded from Nationals right ? So they can take their time to regain Miyu's health while training for the next events.
