2025 BC Super Series Autumn Leaves | Oct 2-5

Brookelynn has a lot of qualities. I hope she loosens up a bit though. She's quite stiff and it's breaks her flow.

Rainy day so I'm in time to watch Junior Free Dance.

Breau/Che are having a rough competition, he had a fall on the twizzles and it looks like a fall in the RD too :(

I was planning to watch some of this but it's too nice outside... so I made other plans. Keep us posted !

Ritchie/Dunn - Eleanor Rigby by Cody Fry. Stumble on the pair spin, not sure if the death spiral will be valid. Throws and jumps were good, it'll be more about getting the other elements for them.

TES is 28.85, so they got the Challenge minimums which means they pretty much qualified for Nationals :)

Kind of off-topic but also concerning Canadian pairs - Weren't Yunoki/Taylor supposed to compete in Saskatchewan this weekend? Tristan posted about their first competition of the season but it doesn't look like they actually competed :(

Yeah, I saw that :( They aren't registered for Saskatchewan sectionals either, along with Schmitz/Eberl. I hope it's something like lost luggage and nothing more serious than that.

They did meet the Challenge minimums last season at Japanese sectionals, so that should still be good if US domestic scores can be used for Challenger benchmarks.

That was a stronger free for David H than the summer I think. Not clean, but getting back to where he was. 114.03 for the free, 171 total, decent Senior debut.

Wesley skated to an easier content program which is expected as he is just coming back...

He ran out of steam at the end but :

All his triples are back (he didn't do a loop however)

His skating is nice enough for him to get decent PCS.

Looks like they did the free. Not a bad result. https://skatecanadasaskatchewan.com/2025-sask-skate-results-day-2
