A bit of a mixed skate from Jia, some really strange errors in the beginning but she recovered really well in the second half. There's so much quality to her skating, although I think some of that was set aside today to make sure she got the jumps done. I'm excited to see her grow as a senior skater, her ability to put aside two odd mistakes speaks to her impressive mental fortitude. Moving forwards, I'd love to see her really push up the free leg on her jumps and look up and out more, but I'm sure that will come with time. Hopefully this experience will help her stay calmer and deliver everything she is capable of at her next event.

Jia is a lovely skater but this program is a bit boring isn't it? The white dress isn't adding anything. Lovely jumps when she rotates them. Beautiful SS, Could work on her extension.

This is literally the first time I've ever seen Jia pop her salchow, strong second half though and my girl is beautiful as always. Congratulations on surviving your first senior GP my girl, you'll do better next week I'm sure
