Ami!!! Weirdly enough I enjoy this cover which is something I don't say often.

I do too. I said so when I first saw the program in Lombardia. The singer has one of those voices that make you smile as soon as you hear the first note.

Not just a level, she got a V which is significant.

Looking at the score breakdown, I actually agree with the PCS of the top 4 for once (not talking about the PCS of some of the skaters in the first groups, to be clear).

I'm sort of angry right now about this.

Ami skated so well, but this program left me cold. I feel like I got no emotion from it, and I wanted it so bad. I'm hoping it grows on me, because I enjoyed watching her skate her short program, I wanted that feeling for the long, and it didn't happen.

To be honest, my feeling is that the program isn't much of a program. It is really just crossovers and Ami smiling. She isn't doing anything nearly as difficult program wise as the other ladies here. I really don't agree with this win or her PCS. Great basic SS. But, that is all.

With all the love I have for Rion, if she hasn't solidified it in the last 3 or so years, it's not going to happen in the next 3 months,
She's still in the conversation, though (Mone's scores are not that far ahead, and Ami needs to continue in the same vein as she did here).
