The constant storming off really has put me off the Italians. I get being annoyed but there are clearly things they could improve upon just like last year but they refuse to take on any of the feedback.

You never liked them though, you were always put off by them? It feels like you're just looking for more excuses to dislike them further. Yes their twizzles were slow, but their one foot covered exceptional ice, their choreo elements and lifts were incredible. They used less holds than last season, because the judges seemingly didn't like so much holds in FDs across the board and preferred open skating. Gabby and guillame had way more open programs than that that won world championships. but still, they had lots of difficult movement in holds and around each other. Their actual holds were more close to each other than the other couples holds...

They were insanely undermarked in the FD relative to the others, even if some things weren't perfect. And they took all the feedback from last year.



Now I have defended their skating... that being said... what were they thinking? To be posting what they posted in their instagram stories in the middle of the competition. You don't insult the judges then expect them to give you points. If they hadn't posted the stuff to instagram, I imagine they'd have 125+. Unfortunately, the blame lies with them.

No they are entitled too. It´s about time someone actually speak about this manipulated judging. They are not connected to the right skating school that is the problem here.

Yeah, it’s really unfortunate. I think, like the other French dance teams who were poised to be #1 and #2 in France going into the Olympics, the Italians have always been #1 in Europe and the presence of F-B/C really threatens that placement and they are skating all the worse for it, with mistakes abound. They have to find some way to channel their love again for skating and really attack their programs to put up a very worthy fight against their challengers.

4.39 for that conbination curve lift that isn´t even a real lift, because Gui can´t lift probably. UGGG - tired of those "creative lifts"

The GOE is absolute insane.... say no more. They are trying to push them ahead of Lilah and Lewis now...
