S/H bring me so much joy! Love the colors of the costumes (reminds me of shen/zhao costume). So happy Sui just doubled the salchow--it's better for my nerves. I look forward to seeing this develop as they gain stamina. They definitely bring something that no one else in the field has. Btw, she's the only one who has ever done a decent split position on that lift.

I'll repeat what I said yesterday: they're good but not overwhelmingly so. The throws were great, but the lifts all looked very shaky to me and the jumps...

Yeah, he does look a little like a senior citizen when lying down Also, not sure about putting the lifts so late when he's clearly still working on strength and conditioning.

(I prefered the baby Chinese today, but they won't allow them to make the podiu over Sui/Han.)

not many, both r and z are worth 1 point , but ź is worth 7 points

Sui/Han certainly are not on the level they were 4 years ago, which of course is expected.

well...let's hope it's just early season because this is not Sui Han we are used to... and I am not talking about elements. I am talking about the fire, the commitment to choreography etc.. I feel sad. I will have to keep my memory of their 2022 skating... It's like they are chasing ghosts... their former selves. Or like when I go to a bar and realize that the average age is about 19....

Say what you want about Cong but I think he did amazing considering he didn't skate at all for more than 3 years.
I think they skated the best they could considering where they are in their training. I didn't expect them to be anyway near their best but it's a great pleasure to see them again. Fighters.

That was very respectable performance and a lovely program. I spy a bit of choreography from their iconic Rain In Your Black Eyes LP. I love the music choice and this is a good base to build upon. This was a great first outing! They did themselves proud.

Watching replays now . . . Ghilardi/Ambrosini were really wonderful in the FS and their reaction was so exciting. Their packaging and choreography is really first rate! I absolutely loved it!!
