If any other team were skating to this, I will cut them off and continue my reading. But C/M is one of my favorite pair teams so I’m gonna be loyal to the end.

I liked the SP a lot better. I can see some of their weaknesses here that I didn't notice in SP. But, it should get them at least the silver.

Yikes, a really rough outing for McBeath/Parkman. I’m sure they would have loved to combine their SP from Cup of China and their FS from Grand Prix de France.

What I love about these Sara & Niccolo is the heart and soul they bring to their skating. There is a lovely drama and honesty to their choreography that leaves a strong impression even with mistakes.

I remember watching Italians pairs back in the 70s & 80s and they always finished way down in the pack. Italy is very lucky to have two such lovely pair teams for their home Olympics. They should be thriving by then.

Too many small bobbles today. It should still be a silver medal (if the Georgians skate as expected), but not what they wanted.

Lots of little mistakes crept in. Overall, still liked their performance even though it was a bit cautious. This will be ready for the home crowd for the Olys and should play well.

That was so close to a disaster They saved it and kept a calm head on their shoulders after, though, so good for them. Should still be enough for a win, and I'm just grateful there were no casualties
