That lift terrified me. They have some amazing elements and I can see that they're working on the presentation. I just think they could use better programs and packaging. That might take some time.

Too much stuff in Metelkina Berulava's program: phone calls, ambulance, it's distracting when one is trying to do a lift. Then a gong and then a song.

That horrifying lift took me right out of the program and I wasn’t able to get back to it. Best triple twist in the competition, though. That thing was HUGE.

Anastasiia/Luka. Great outfits and a good program. A few s mall mistakes, but still a really good skate.

European championships will be exciting packed with so many great pairs this year.

Sui and Han have a VERY LONG way to go to be in any shape for an Olympic podium place in Milan. There were so many uncomfortable, insecure moments in this competition. Is there enough time for them? They are unlikely to make the GPF, so I don’t see that there’s enough time to get back in political favor with international judges and they certainly didn’t achieve the positive momentum they were probably hoping from this event on home ice.

everyone is obviously talking about the slip on the lift but the next one was hyper scary too... his technique is not ideal.
