Ugh, Deanna and Max’s SBS 3S is always a struggle bus!

Yeah, bummer. She got it at her last competition though, which is the first time I had seen it in a while so I think it's in better shape this year than last!

Not even talking about her throws, the only time I've seen her fall on one of them was John Nicks...even in practices in Angers there was nothing...

Just like there will always be naysayers picking on any of my favorites. To disagree ... just because? It is discouraging to me over and over.

I was amazed Ellie landed 2 throws that’s a Big step forward, honestly thought that would never happen. They deserved a medal for sure. Minerva and nikita drop to 2nd place. Shocked by that Deanna and max win! Wow. It was a good event I thought. The judging felt correct. Sad for Lia and Trent. Where is Lia&a confidence she had. Happy for Anastasia and luke. A fave of mine

Had to miss seeing this live, but got to see Deanna/Max....hooray!

This program is epic for them. Love everything about it. I love her hair, love her gorgeous dress. Love all the highlights, love the music. Good throws, good first jump combo, great lifts. I LOVE how their death spiral goes right into their pairs spin, which for so many is a throwaway element, but Deanna hits such gorgeous positions in it, and with the difficult entry where she doesn't let go of her blade, it's amazing.

And this isn't their ceiling yet. I'm sure they want triple sals, and of course the mistake on the lift that lost them points. Still scoring 140+. Amazing!

Yeah, a bummer, but I had a suspicion that they would have ended with silver even if Volodin didn't lose that combo.

Well, it's always special to win your home GP, and after the short they had some work to do to make it happen. Maybe that's part of it. And the assurance that they can still put together such performances.

The really sad thing about this is this would never be let happen in a game of the ball. This is not rocket science. I hold an FCC license to operate a broad cast station (scary, huh?). You can rule out the cameras and video switcher and uplink very quickly. Then there is a downlink to an earth station and then on to Peacock intergalactic HQ. Something was bad and there should be 100 percent redundency. Yet they refused to fix it. I am not feeling the love here.

I am not currently a Peacock subscriber but I can certainly understand why people are angry/disappointed. Especially after the price increase to $10.99/month. I recall it being $5.99/month in early 2024. They could at least get the stream quality consistently watchable.

A responsible, honorable organization would offer a refund, credit, or some sort of benifit for muffing a major sporting event. I guess those days are gone. One of my docs made an error on one of my scripts and it cost me $165 to fix. She said she was sorry.

I am so overjoyed at Danny/Ellie's bronze medal. I was really steamed that Volodin cut Danny off TWICE in the warm-up that I sent negative thoughts his way. Karma took care of the rest! Deanna/Max for the win!

Sadly figure fans do not feel the love. All the other live sports on Peacock at the same time were fine, great video, clearly no one was monitoring or cared about this one.

I subscribe to Peacock for additional reasons, but not seeing Deanna and Max the way they should be seen? Or Danny and Ellie and their, finally, great skate? Not good.

You may well be right....they were asleep at the switch and didnt care about a pixel here or there. They dont even give us our own Icon.

Ps I think Lia and Trent should go back to the long tango from last year. This mission music is weird and no emotion??

I really want this team to sneak or rather own a podium spot come Italy. I think a more dramatic costume for her might help in the fs and they really make things sharp and crisp and if necessary over exagerate. She needs to release her inner angelka /Krylova or Natalia Bestminova with the precision and crispness of Gordeeva and Grinkov. Go Deanna and Max - geriatrics can make an impact!!!
