Although he's been back on the ice for quite some time. I saw them in Igora in July, and I think he was already doing a triple salchow then.

Ok, never mind. Mishina's head WAS below her skating knee. However, I can't find a difficult exit for either M/G or B/K, so I guess I just don't understand Ds levels at all.

Tomorrow is going to be incredible. Either Sadkova or Khusnutdinova can establish themselves as current world leaders. I still can't believe Dina got less PCS than Yametova. It's an outrage. Men shall be a thrill with Ignatov & Vetlugin providing some healthy nerves & Gleb/Vlad delivering a show. M/G left gold hypothetically open if B/K land their 4S it will be legendary.

Alright, well, same effect... I see the difficult entry, I see her head/hips below the skating knee, and I see maybe a feature to Galliamov for using his free arm (difficult balance)? Surely Mishina's little hand twirls can't count as an entire level.
Honestly, M/G doesn't look good. Sasha looks very thin and struggling for breath. If B/K don't win tomorrow they will never defeat M/G.
They really hold Dina back but the GOE as well because I thought they'd only give her high 20's for PCS and she received 30. But she should have been a couple points higher, Sadkova should have been ahead of Mura, although Mura impressed me because she's added a lot of weight compared to how she used to look, but the skating still had speed, the jumps weren't too bad (of course the FS more of a test).
I think Sadkova wins this.
Edit. Looking at the protocols they were quite reasonable with Dina. But it's skaters like Frolova who had big underrotations (q's at a minimum) on a couple of jumps but not reflected in the scores. They should score Frolova closer to Zakharova.

There are just two features for Death spirals.
1) Difficult entry or difficult exit.
2) One level for every rotation in a proper position.

I don't think Sadkova's CO in this program can compare to Mura's at all. I would consider that an untenable suggestion. Muravieva's program is borderline perfectly choreographed and significantly more complicated/unique than Sadkova's. They had comparable PR for what their program allows. Giving Mura a slight edge in PR for thematic superiority is fair. Mura was extremely fast which is what you said would never happen again. Deservedly superior SS. That being said, I think they were all things considered equal, and were scored accordingly with only a 00.15 gap, allowing the FS as a decider, which Sadkova should always win.
We of course agree Dina was shamelessly robbed in front of her own family, fans and entire region. It is an inexcusable disrespect. I thought she deserved at least 31 by the strictest standard. Yametova given 30.66, I would put Dina just under Sadkova. Her skating was undeniably gorgeous. There is no excuse that she is just out of juniors. Her program is superior to Dvoeglazova on all counts and the latter earns 32.5 also straight out of juniors. It's despicable. In her own Kazan', as well. It's lamentable & pathetic.

Are you serious? Khusunudinova walks the entire program on straight legs, and her aestetics is nothing short of frightening
. I get it that Russians are opposite to Japanese about skating skills and footwork vs arms and body work, but she doesn't have it even to Russian standard.

Meeting Japanese SS platitudes upon opening a Lariko notification is uncanny.
I've only watched the women-but they were all fantastic. Today my favorite was Mura-the speed she had into the combo-it was just beautiful. I love Yametova, Dina I think is still a bit juniorish-especially compared to Frolova, Yametova, Mura and a few others. Everyone pretty much brought their best today, it was fun to watch.

Muravieva was wicked fast. The fastest of the day. Even more than Sadkova. Some users suggested it would never happen again. She could be top 3 by nationals in speed. To look this good at her first stage is unusual for her. She is supposed to be a late peaker. It's the opposite of what everyone was predicting.
The archaic "j*niorish" slur has lost all meaning. It was invented by redditors bigoted against talent. Muravieva and Frolova will make almost every senior look "j*niorish". It doesn't mean anything. Sadkova's extension & range will be matched by nobody for a long time so really everyone should just stay in juniors. She can compete against herself until Korchazhnikova is 17. In no world is Dina less of a senior skater than someone like Vazhnova who nobody ever says a word about regarding this.

BTW: Frolova said she will present a new outfit at this tournament for her FS. She said it will be "much gloomier". Red & black tones were suggested. The blue tone of her current dress, according to her, doesn't look as good on the ice with all the lights, as it did originally to her otherwise.
