2025-26 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 3 - Kazan

BTW: Frolova said she will present a new outfit at this tournament for her FS. She said it will be "much gloomier". Red & black tones were suggested. The blue tone of her current dress, according to her, doesn't look as good on the ice with all the lights, as it did originally to her otherwise.
I'm curious because her SP dress is so boring... it would look so much better in a better dress..

I wonder if we might see Chaplygina, Anisimova, Paramonova and Ovchinnikova again this season. Or haven't they qualified?

Chaplygina,
She performed this season in a smaller event. Her shape wasn't too good but she looked fine. She doesn't need to qualify as she's the only skater from region she represents. So she either appears at later stages or is injured.

Anisimova
Her situation isn't clear as Elisova switched to Tula. Though in 2023/24 Tula was able to provide stages for both their ladies. Based on her IG posts, she was preparing for the season. She didn't perform at earlier events but this is usual for her. Saying that, I remembered about their young lad, Konstantin Safonov. He also seems to disappear. 🤔

Paramonova
Moscow has very few spots so there's no way she would make it. Even Mazur didn't.

Ovchinnikova
I think there's a chance she gets one stage. Though St Petersburg has a lot of decent senior women this season. Pulina, Kudlai and Zubkova definitely deserve a second stage as they are nationals contenders.

Thank you Alex!!

Speaking of SPB, I wonder what happened to Marasanova, that her results dropped so much. She wasn't seen outside of SPB competitions for two seasons already.

Judges from Belarus don't seem to know spins features. That's sad.
I'm very serious, by the way.

When Safonova competed at earlier events in Belarus, I thought that there was no way she would get level 4 on her combo spins. And that's what exactly happened. Ironically, the commentators and local judges hated Puzanov's spins but he was better prepared in this aspect. And internationally he got level 4 on all of them.
