2025-26 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 3 - Kazan

Dina says that 3S is harder for her than the 3A.

It's true, she had 2 clean axels last stage and underrotated the Salchow.

16, 17 and 20 years old - will see in near future how the 2 younger ones are going to be evaluated, developed.

It will not be close if Dina is clean... She got 204 for her last stage with a bunch of mistakes.
I expected a some underrotations and PCS in the high 50's at most. At international level she wouldn't get more than 200 for those performances. PCS would be low 50's

Well, I don't really need a significant power of prediction to know how it will turn out. The same thing as always does, particularly with Khusnutdinova because this is simply not compatible with well-being.

So...

Petrosian, Frolova, Khusnutdinova, Zakharova, Kulikova, Dvoeglazova, Lyashenko, Sadkova are safely through to Nats.

And I expect Gushchina, Sinitsyna, Eltsova, Gorbacheva, Akateva, Muravieva, Yametova, Nelyubova to go through too. (Unless Akateva is injured?)

That means two spots to fight for
Zubkova, Pulina has an advantage as they competed at a weaker stage.
Kudlay, Vazhnova, Fedyanina as outsiders.

Did I forget anyone?

I am so, so happy to see Kolyada, Medvedeva and Tscherbakova as commentators/hosts. They are doing a great job 👏

I think Akatyeva is out with an injury? It's a great comp regardless.

That wouldn't be clean then.

Maybe, but I couldn't care less anymore. She is better than Kaori to me. Sorry.
I would actually revise her PCS to less than 50 looking at world's scores. Seniuk got 49 (much more enjoyable to watch), Schild 53, maybe mid to high 40's. It is jarring how slow Dina is, just nothing to the program except small consistent jumps.

But maybe she gets a bye to Nats anyway as she is part of the National Team?

We still don't actually know what happened with her.

She will skate at a show at the end of November. This was announced after her WD. So, at least we know she can be on the ice (often not the case with injury).

I'm not sure Gorbacheva appears in the series.
