I am sure she will if she is able, but with an injury mid-November and patchy performances, it seems unwise to insist on Nationals this year.

I don't know. You're being generous. Realistically all of Dina's jumps were borderline. I would've put her TES below 65. Terrible entries and exits she deserved negative GOE and the judges completely missed edge calls and rotations here. Clear Eteri bonus as always. Typical Eteri choreography she wouldn't even get 5s from me on CO. PR lucky if she gets 4. Could've been asleep on the ice and I wouldn't have noticed the difference. I think Kaiser from NHK is a more complete skater I would put her higher (but only by a bit). Just my two cents, though. I get you're an Eteri fan you might be a bit more forgiving. It's normal. Nothing to be ashamed of or argue about. We're all in agreement here.

Muravieva has her choreo sequence invalidated. This probably costed her a podium place.

She missed the catch-foot at the beginning.
She lost 4.13 points. It would be .05 behind Frolova anyways.
Dina has good tech and beautiful spins, but she does have a long way to go performance-wise. Her face remains imperturbably expression-less during the entire skate, not just today but during the SP as well, and her movements lack purpose. The programs don't help her either, as they are quite empty and whatever choreo is there, is repeated from the SP to the FS (even the end poses are literally the same 
).
And, this is of course a personal problem on my side, but I also find it hard to watch her skating because her legs are very long and super skinny, so I feel like they may break any moment.
But she is very young and of course, hopefully will develop with time. But at this point, they are many skaters more complete and better than her, even at this very stage (though today she did deserve to win as the FS were off for most other contenders out there)

Well, his career happened to be unexpectedly short.
Yes, I thought it looked strange. She reached for her blade to do a Bielmann position?...but dropped it. I was surprised she initially got +GOE on it...

Anna FROLOVA (ok - today she made a small mistake, usualy she doesn't ), and she is considerably fast on the ice, she will definately be on the podium , if she was allowed to compete in NHK JP.
And we move to Men!! 
I still have to catch-up with the SP, only saw the scores, but was soo happy to see Arthur is in third!! 
His short program is wnderful, and it will be amazing if he can end-up on the podium here!

They didn't catch the mistake it seems or they would've invalidated the element immediately. You're right, though, the ChSq would've contained an extra element and she would've gotten better GOE for that alone. I wonder how much it would affect PCS.
Anyways, it's true: Muravieva lost podium because of this failed catch-foot. Mind-boggling mistake. It's even worse than her StSq falls, IMO. Muravieva always has something unexpected on the menu.
Biggest issue is this podium could be the difference between her attending Channel 1 Cup or not.

He seems reliable this season (who could think that he just needs to adjust the layout).
Hopefully the possible medal pressure doesn't get to him.

There was a long interview with him, when he showed his school etc, and while he didn't say what else he was doing/wanted to do, he said he didn't want to stay after his career. I guess, it didn’t pan out.
