2025 Skate America Rhythm Dance

not sure about CB... this dance is also quite flat... if it weren't for the HUGE goe given to them, they wouldn't be in first place.
twizzles : there is not much ice coverage ... this element shouldn't be scored in the +3 GOE or higher than teams who actually do fast twizzles with lots of ice coverage.
that choreo step : cool move they had last year already ... but the rest was not much happening yet + 6 goe.
crazy stuff... even on a pattern deemed level B the judges just are so generous... pattern B means that TP didn't give them ANY turns... yet, judges think it's a good element
oh well... glad dance is over now.. I will be less grumpy

I have to retract what I said!! Even though the song sounds old and tired to me (even during the 90s)…I forgot the groups name is Eiffel 65! Of course the French chose it! And the song is quintessential Eurodance.

Which is depressing as it wasn't that good. This Olympics is going to be a bust in all disciplines.

Nice rhythm dance by Chock and Bates. Seaso. Best good job. They faces look like not score wanted maybe a bit higher.
As far as C/ P and L/ L i thought scores should be closer together not 5 points different around 74. To 75

C/B have the benefit of not having to face off against FB/C until the GPF, so no one is really pushing them yet. I suppose that could explain why they look so forgettable right now in the GP series. I do really like their FD, but their RD is so banal.
I'm really not enjoying this year's RD theme. I don't normally mind 90s dance music, but for skate after skate it is just boring me. The only two programmes I really remember are LaLa and Lopareva/Brissaud. The others have just kind of merged into one.

Maybe Gabby has better points than Tara, but she does not shut up either. They make me long for Chris.
As always, I loved Oona and Gage, just loved them.
Gage is pure ham in the best way and I am here for it.
I like Madi and Evan, so sue me. Also American Woman is a 70s song, so I can hum along.
I don't think Evgeniia and Geoffrey are all that, the program actually leaves me cold.
I am an ice dance contrarian. I did enjoy LaLa.

I doubt it - I think NBC welcomes the controversy for ratings..
People may question LaLa's jock program but 1): it's a hilarious take on a difficult RD brief this year 2) Marjo is killing it as a cheerleader 3) you can't say that with their White Crow FD that this team doesn't have range!
I actually think showing their program range is important in demonstrating their podium worthiness.
