I think Bock got some veteran candies tbh, their skating looked so much smaller watching them right after FBC

As usual, I don’t understand why C/B are scored 5 points higher than G/P. I do think being in the first warmup group deflated G/P’s chances of scoring higher than they did though. This definitely was a pro IAM panel too, which is the case with every panel.

They have better lifts, 14 years of skating together plus a high difference give them huge advantage on some elementsSorry, not sorry if I prefer Chock/Bates lifts to FB/C. I know French team have great skating skills. So feel free to throw virtual tomatoes at me to disagree.

watching only the scores update will finish me - but congrats to Bradie on the lead. So sorry for Sofia. I will try again for round two later if I feel up to it. All those rotational lifts were making me turn green

LOL, Dancing isn't a one size fits all. They are dancing, but cautious, they need time. But they are pushing Bock to their limits and this is very good for ice dancing. Let's get to the FD.

I saw the scores first (I overslept and missed live viewing) and was so afraid Z/K had a fall with the deductions, but no, just the weird tech panel scoring this season. Ridiculous that this weirdness is happening., esp. in an Olympic season.
Piper and Paul were just spectacular. I adore the way they dance in hold so much, and they do it with speed and intricacy.

C/B are weaker pair than french, they skate so small
Z/K had one of the best skates today that they've ever had imo. It was spectacular. I feel they were pushed down a lot here.
