Another amazing skate, not as clean as Italians but nothing major and they have some superior qualities that may help them. Flow and speed second to none, especially on the lifts. Should be 2nd or 1st.

I mean, it's the winning music for sure. It creates the victory moment no matter how the jumps went.

M/K responded well. They tend to be nervy in positions like this, especially on home ice. Little mistakes on the jumps that weren’t dinged enough on.

I love their speed, lifts and SS so much, but I think SaraNicco should take the title here. Unfortunately for me, even though I like this team, if the judges are too lenient for them, somehow I root for other teams more......

I think that's a huge statement from the judges that they see RikuRyu a bit superior rn and if cleen they are seen as the main gold contender.

Congrats to the medalists! It wasn't the cleanest event but they made it exciting.

The judging looks a little like a deliberate advertisement for the Olympics.

That was such a good pairs event! Apart from Max and Deanna's really rough skate and Metelkina/Berulava scaring the coffee out of me on that lift, everyone had amazing programs!

Wow. I thought the Germans had the best performance and deserved the marks earned. The Italians were good, very good but I think they were slightly overmarked. The Japanese received a home town bump and, imo, definitely overscored. Right podium - wrong order.

That was actually a good event. Well, I missed the Canadians, but their score tells that story. I hope Metelkina/Berulava get it together, especially the lifts. Being fourth so many times in big competitions can hurt more than being dead last.

Yes and if he decides to retire I wish he would take a coach path and help to develop pairs in Japan, they really need a domestic coach and his experience could be so valuable.
