Oh thank God we can watch Brooke skate, for a second I thought we were going to watch an empty couch for five minutes . She's so elegant to watch, she has gorgeous posture and lovely extension. That being said, we need a bit of jump math training, but that's okay, I'm having a discount on my Jump Math™ Masterclass for the junior men in the spring and we'd love to have Piper Gilles Brooke there.

Interesting hearing Ashley arms over the head on jumps doesn't affect scoring when Tara and Johnny constantly say it's for higher GOE.

Anabel is not the most polished skater, but there is something very sweet and appealing and honest in her skating. I ended up smiling every time I watched her in practice.

short answer: they're nonbinary and use they/them pronouns

long answer: a lot of people feel like the whole man/woman binary doesn't really apply to them. For a lot of people, you just kind of know that you're a man or a woman, but some people feel different and express their gender differently. Nonbinary is kind of a catchall term to say that you're not really a man or woman and that you feel like the sex you were assigned at birth doesn't match how you feel on the inside.

I would have flown the Pride flag had I known.

I love Emilia's jumping style.

Emilia's jumps are gorgeous and she skates with so much maturity and poise. I find it so hard to believe she's just 15, and I really like this program (and not just because I love the song ). She sometimes struggles with translating her consistency in practice into competition, but I'm sure that more reps in events like this will help her, there were a few silly mistakes tonight that she will certainly learn from. Beyond those few little errors, this was a great program from her. That 3Lo into the loop turn was spectacular.
