2026 U.S.Nationals Senior Women Free Skate

I remember when lyrics were first allowed in skating, everyone was afraid we'd only ever get exhibition style pop programs. I'm glad that's not the case- that we got a good mix of fun programs and old warhorses

While I'm chatting here, I'm texting with a friend in Boston, and he really dislikes the music with lyrics.

He said if he were a skater, he'd always want to skate to "Scheherazade"

I really like Josephine but I need her to stop randomly waving her arms around.
She needs to be more aware of the shapes she is making.
It's hard for tall skaters like Josephine to rotate their jumps and control their limbs, isn't it. I really appreciated Josephine's commitment to peformance. IMHO though she really needs to work on her SS. She absolutely does not have the same ability to fly across the ice like Emilia and Sherry and her height should actually be of advantage in this regard unlike the jumps and limb control. She has time.

I think if she placed her arms more intentionally she would be better centered over those edges and her control would improve.

I used to feel the same way but I’ve come around. On the classical side some beautiful arias, but today I loved loved loved Keegan rocking out at Canada Nationals.
