2026 U.S.Nationals Senior Women Free Skate

Alysa should have been practicing a 3axel which would give her the edge on most everyone she has to know she has to have the other skaters make mistakes to win.

I agree. At the GPF, she was boasting she would add a 3A to her programs and that she loves to take risks. She should have tried it here.

I have a feeling she will regret not adding that 3A. Alysa is consistent. But, if all the other skaters are on, the Japanese skaters, Adeliya and Amber should beat her, in my opinion.

Amber earned the win. Disagree with PCS score though as she clearly rests before her jumps in the second half and shouldn’t be higher than Alysa or Isabeau in PCS.

Ok so for whoever asked about Alysa’s program, the crowd was really into it. When it was over craziness ensued and people were flying down the stairs to throw stuffies. Amber maybe a little less so because of the music. Nothing wrong with her music, it was just not as much pop dance music. The final 5 skaters all got standing ovations and were all mostly clean. I giggled at Ambers coach holding up the towel upside down. I’m staying here for awards to let some of the people clear out. But many are staying.

Such a great podium. As expected but they still skated their hearts out. Love to Amber. What a giant. Alyssa is all flash until it comes time to performing. Kudos. I love Isabeau's sp and fs. Such elegance. I don't mistake her poise for lack of speed. tonight she was making every move count and I'm happy for my fellow south Jersey girl.
Congratulations ALL. Bradie will be the alternate, I'm guessing.
I loved seeing my hero Carol Heiss in the audience. Great night for US Figure Skating. Good night.
