Just took a long nap and have arrived groggy. I kept getting woken up by various alarms used for work in the middle of it. Be kind if i type stupid things...

I looked at the clock at about five past four, but lay on stupid and only got up half an hour later.

But I was pleasantly surprised that when I got the stream on and the graphic for the Judges was on screen. I thought I would have missed the Warm-Up and possibly the first skater.

SO SICK of it. I will roll in the grass when spring comes in. I also ordered some Turkish poppies (seeds) just because I decided spring needed to happen.

From what we just saw, I would say it is going well!

Amira IRMATOVA (KAZ) is wearing a beautiful dress in the same colour as the Kazakh flag. And skating to a beautiful instrumental piece, "Carol Ann" by Michael W. Smith.

And the skating was beautiful too.

All in all, a really beautiful start to the event.
