Yes, as for this season doing clean and expressive programmes is good for building his reputation. If he can get some consistent quads next season he will shoot up the rankings.

Yudong is a power skater. When his jumps are on they are beautiful. I am still looking for some personality and presence to solidify his impression and make him more memorable.

Bummer, Roman down on the quad, pops the axel.. but that's probably the best Lutz combo I've ever seen from him.

What a pity. The jumps didn't all ignite the way they should. But expression wise it was a great fit to Clair de Lune. Beautiful.

Roman!! Rough beginning, but kudos for great fight on the 2nd half So gutsy of him going for the 4sal in the 2nd half after falling on the first one!

What a fight? After 4S fall and popped 3A, I thought oh no!!
But, that fight in the second half to land a backloaded 4S 2A is wow!!
Hoping for a 230+ score for top ten!!

What a shame about the mistakes at the start of the program - The rest was so good! Roman is such a beautiful skater. It always baffles me why he's not getting PCS marks in the eights or even nines. He has wonderful lines, good presentation, solid choreography, excellent skating skills, etc. If this is his last season, this was a great FS (in terms of the program, not necessarily the performance) for him to end on.

Ach, just as I thought we were going to get Debussy's masterpiece the whole way through, it turned into "Photograph" by Cody Fry.

Kudos to Roman for staying committed to his program with later 4S seq after some early challenges. Beautiful spins and choreo sq with lovely expressiveness throughout his skate.
