I am addressing the fact that they are not supposed to be capitalized in titlesArticles in English are small words that come before nouns to indicate whether the noun is specific or general. There are three articles: "a" and "an" (indefinite articles) for general nouns, and "the" (definite article) for specific nouns. Articles are never capitalized. Former English major here.
