Well, at least Kaitlyn herself is very decent and posted on her IG that she loves this program created by Kana Muramoto. It is kinda hard to check though - unless you keep track of program announcements in the beginning of the season (or a GS member), it's really not that straightforward.... I tried googling "Mayuko Oka short program", "Mayuko Oka choreographers" and can't find a straightforward answer.
Mark usually does in-depth research of most skaters, but he didn't correct Ted - so I guess he also just goes by the choreographers order in the ISU bio. Perhaps they should adjust the choreographers' section in the ISU bio so that it's tied to the short & free programs section to avoid any confusion.
I understand your sentiment about the wrong choreographer getting the credit - I just hope in this situation Ted & Mark will also praise Kana instead for the choreo of Mayuko's free program (as it's also a wonderful program). Two wrongs doesn't make it right I know, but better than Kana not getting credits at all![]()

we just made a couple of new galaxiesI am up! I see it went for 7 hours 45 minutes so congrats to anyone who made it through... including Ted and Mark.
And our Hana is third? An Aussie is third? She has a small medal?![]()

Mao is of course first, she is an amazing talent and I think I exceed @elektra blue in the number and blazingness of suns with which I also hate that costume... for gods sake she's a 16 year old elite athlete, not a 6 year old Shirley Temple wannabe!
A little late to the party (3am was just too early to watch) but I realllly hope we can see more of Zhasmin Shlaga once she hits seniors - she was a standout to me even though she skated so early and didn't make the free. Oodles of potential - I would love to see her having a Julia Sauter-like rise because she's such a fun skater.
Reminded me of...
