Well, it wasn't Ami's best, but it also wasn't a disaster by far. She still got some points for the 2A, even if it wasn't much, and she came right back with a fantastic combo. I love her little happy expression when she lands her jumps. She also gets so many points from her spins, and she has really great skating skills as well, which well help her stay in that 70-point range even with the axel pop.

Oh no, I had a bad feeleing about Ami's triple axel and unfortunately it went all wrong. She has a thing, when she pops or underrotates the jumps she always land on two feet which cost her even more points. Anyway, still should get a pretty solid score.

It's not just Nina tbh, many urs have been overlooked so far.

Unfortunate for someone like Sarah Everhardt who was dinged earlier in the season for underrotations but nailed her jumps cleanly today.

I loved the programme that Yulia LIPNITSKAYA (RUS) did wearing a "Where's Wally" costume, and I love this programme that Ami NAKAI (JPN) is doing wearing a "Where's Wally" costume.

She was skating to "La Strada" by Nino Rota

And she was great!

She goes into 2nd position.

Awwwww. Her reaction was so adorable! Just like she is!
