I managed to make my streaming work again, just in time for Emily splatting horrifically. Twice.
And disaster on the spiral.

OMG I am in shock. No pressure and I thought this their moment to shine.. Still USA looks good fo rthree.

Oh no, disaster skate from Chan/Howe, those falls looked painful. Somehow they still could deliver the performance part, crowd helped them a lot. Their basic skating quality is really nice, his footwork in the lifts is great.

WEll the dream is over for Canada. I just watched the no. 2 team and they crumbled more than feta cheese for a greek salad. I was hoping to see them win three spots. But USA is going to hold on to three spots and a medal to boot is not unpredictable.

I'm confused. Chan-Howe (USA) just had the bad skate, we still have a whole other warm up group to skate, right? I didn't think they were in medal contention?

Second "Unchained Melody" of the day from Emily CHAN / Spencer Akira HOWE (USA). Thank goodness it isn't Roy Orbison this time.

Emily is wearing a dress in various shades of grey (not as many as 50). Spencer is wearing a top in fewer shades of grey, and black trousers.

Oh dear. They had quite a few disasters.

But, the audience really got behind them and gave them lots of encouragement when it became clear it was not going well, and the support did really help them in the second half.

They go into 15th position in the FS, and 11th position overall.
