As you know, I normally love Indian programmes. But, as I said the last time I saw this programme, I wouldn't been keen on the music used in this one. The first part was, well, boring. And I would have preferred the original version of "Jai Ho" rather than the Pussycat Dolls version.

Oh dear. Lots of mistakes. Including a lift that had to be aborted when Karina was already up high.

They go into 3rd postion in the FS, and and 2nd position overall.

They are disappointed. But they should be thankful. I was expecting them to be much lower in both.

Could good results for the German teams influence the decision? Or is it exclusively about money?

To be quite honest, I'm not sure. I just know that the decision is not up to the German Skating federation, but is going to be made by the German Olympic Sports Confederation and the Department of the Interior.

I hope the success of Minerva and Nikita (and Annika and Robert) has a positive impact on the decision, especially because Berlin is the only one of the three remaining National training centers (down from originally five) with any notable development in pairs. The other disciplines are more spread out, depending on age group, but not pairs.

That love story needed a snowball fight and perhaps a dance break choreographed by Raygun to add some excitement.

Efimova struggled on the SBS. The transition to the death spiral looks like a mistake to me. This program works best when clean. It’s very underwhelming with mistakes.

Alisa/Misha. I love her pink dress. Wonderful program. SBS jumps problematic, but the rest was so good.

I hate this music. I'd love to see them in a bit different packaging next season. Hopefully not ghost the musical.
Other than sbs jumps, that was great skate from them, beautiful lines, nice throws, the best death spiral.

Alisa EFIMOVA / Misha MITROFANOV (USA) skating to a cover of Andy Williams' "Where Do I Begin?"

Although this isn't a great version that they are using, this song always gets to me. (I've told the story of why a few times, so I won't repeat it here). Even though I wasn't fussed on the film that it is from.

Alisa is wearing a light pink dress. Misha is wearing a dark pink top, and black trousers.

Such a pity about Alisa's fall. But, on the whole, that was beautiful.

They are on their own because their team-mates are next.

They go into the lead of bot hthe FS and overall.

Awwww. VERY big hug. (Well, they are married )
